Paul sleeping on the plane |
Here is what we've been up to...we flew into JFK airport last Wednesday and soon found out that there were no flights to DC. So I called my Dad who informed me he was already half way to New York to come pick us up! I know that everyone thinks their Dad is the best...but for reals...mine is! Thanks to my Dad we were able to make our flight to Portland the following morning. God is so good!
On our way out of NYC |
Our time in Portland was awesome, we hung out with Paul's family and reconnected with friends and the church there in Vancouver. Paul and I got to share at the Sunday morning service at CC Vancouver, it was awesome and we felt so blessed by all the sweet people there. We left feeling so encouraged and excited to see what the Lord is going to do in Münster with all these prayer warriors interceding! Pastor Daniel and Karen treated us to lunch at Baja Fresh! Thank you all! And I think we did a pretty good job controlling ourselves with the salsa! :) We loved seeing everyone in the Portland area...we will miss you all!
Paul leading worship at CC Vancouver |
We arrived in California on Wednesday and our good friend Adriel picked us up and has been hosting us at his beach house in Newport. Its been awesome to soak up some sun since we haven't seen the sun in months! We got to meet his fiance Gabbi, she is amazing! We also were able to meet up with Ben V. our friend and pastor who married us.
So thats all for now...we will be heading out to Virginia on the 27th. Also sorry there are not so many pics. I feel so bummed because we took tons of pictures but somehow they all got deleted!!!
*Please be praying for Chris and Nada back in Münster since they are having to fill in the holes that we fill most of the time. Pray that the Lord would bless and strengthen them and the people who are going to be serving in our positions while we here in the states.*
Thanks everyone, we love you all!
So encouraged to hear how the Lord has been blessing your furlough. See you soon in the South:)
