He does all things well...

We apologize that we havent updated in a lil while...we moved into our new apartment and are still waiting for internet to be installed. We do however have some awesome praise reports to share with you all:
First...we finally have finished the kitchen! Yay! Thank you Chris, Nada, Marcus and Denni for all your help! You guys are the best!

We feel so blessed to be living here in this place...and to be seeing the Lord's faithfulness and provision in such a real way. Its awesome! By the way...I just gotta say that Münster has the most awesome flea markets ever...its seriously been such a blessing. The Lord has stretched our money so far its crazy!

So here are the promised before and after shots. (Please note that we have not done any decorating yet...lol)

Here is some extra shots of our dining table, entry way and wall of rememberance. We like to be reminded of all the people we love and all the places the Lord has taken us over the years...also this helps fight homesickness! :) Btw Mala was our gracious model for the day!

Secondly, an even bigger praise report is that CC Münster will start meeting on Sunday mornings at the YMCA in Gremmendorf! Its such an answer to prayer...we will be able to rent the meeting hall, childrens room and have access to the kitchen including all the cookware and dishware. Not to mention a full playground for the kids! And all for 10 euro an hour...its totally Jesus! We are super excited and are getting ready for our first Sunday service which will be held on the 14th of November. Please continue to pray along with us for all the Lord desires to do in and through this church. The Lord is moving here, opening wide so many doors and providing so faithfully!

Please know that we so apprecitate you all! You all are as much of this churchplant as we are and the Lord delights to answer your prayers and requests according to His will. Thank you for all your love, encouragement, support and especially prayers. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you! Shalom

Apartment

We are finally making some headway in the apartment...yeah! This past week we painted the living room and bedroom. We loved the color in the living room but the bedroom turned out a little too neon green for me...so we used the extra paint from the living room to re-paint a few walls of the bedroom. It looks much better now!

The green room...thats now re-painted...pics to come later

Chris and Nada wallpapered our kitchen for us....which was an unbelievable task! Here in Germany the walls are concrete and the codes are that you have to put this base of wallpaper down before installing anything in the kitchen. Chris and Nada are true friends...they have helped us so much, translating, paperwork, bank stuff and now wall paper! We are so blessed to know them and call them our friends!

Last weekend Nada's family helped us move in the big pieces of furniture. They also gave us all kind of cool things...pots, pitchers, bowls, candlestick holders etc. They are such sweet and helpful people (I guess that were Nada learned it from!) Yeah...they have been such a blessing to us and we are so thankful for all their help and kindness.

All the awesome things Nada's family gave us!

Today Chris and Paul are working building the kitchen...and then I think Chris' brother-in-law Marcus is going to help us cut and install the countertop!

Thats all for now...thanks for all your prayers!

Communion

This week we had a wonderful Bible study and worship service in Chris and Nada's apartment here in Münster.   It's been so exciting for us to see the Lord bringing new faces to this Bible study every week.
We have not taken communion as part of this Bible study in prior weeks, but Chris felt the Lord lead him to provide communion this week.  As we were worshiping together and taking communion for the first time as a church I think we all felt like this was a special moment for us.

The apartment was totally full, even though not everyone came that would have normally.  We are praying and seeking God for an opportunity to rent a building and start having services on Sunday as soon as possible.

Please continue to pray for us as God is truly moving in this city.  This week we meet a Romanian man named John who is a homeless orphan who's about my age.  We've been meeting with him sharing with him through our friend here who speaks Romanian.  He's very thankful for the help we have been giving him and wants to know more about Jesus and the Bible.  We're going to be meeting with him and reaching out to other homeless Romanians here, and we are praying about having a Bible study and worship in Romanian for them.

We're going to be posting an update video with lots more information in the next day or two so you will see more about what God is doing here.

Shalom~

A Heartfelt Welcome

We have had a great week here in Münsterland! On Saturday Chris and Nada had a official "welcome to Münster" dinner party for us! It was a sweet time of fellowship. We played some games and ate some amazing food that Nada had prepared. Then Chris and some others laid hands on us and prayed for us and our ministry here. It was such a blessing!

Welcoming gifts people gave us!

Our contract and keys
An awesome thing that happened this week...the Lord has provided us an apartment! Nada found this ad in the newspaper and we called the number, viewed the apartment and fell in love with it! Its perfect...close to Chris and Nada, to the city and a shopping center. Not to mention that it is in our budget! After a few days of prayer and the Lord giving the landlord peace about renting to us, Friday we signed our contract and Saturday we had our keys! The apartment is completely unfurnished, we already have some furniture but are in need of a kitchen. So please pray that we can find one! The Lord has been so faithful and it just blowing us all away at how He is providing! Here are some pictures of the new apartment...we will start working on it this week so that we can move in soon! We will post some "after" pictures later...

Today we did our first prayer walk through the city. It was a good time to get out explore and hear from the Lord about His heart for this city and these people. We actually made a few connections while we were out, which was really sweet! Here are a few shots I took while we were out:

As always....thank you all for your prayers and support! Its such a blessing to know that people our praying for us and the church plant here in Münster. We will be updating the current prayer requests on the "support info" page above. The Lord delights to hear the prayers of His children and we have the privilege of seeing your prayers answered in a real way! Blessings to you all!
